Unbaked Icebox Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    3 Tbsp. cream
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. chopped nuts
    pinch of salt
    1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar; add egg, cream, pineapple, salt and nuts.
    Beat well.
    In a Pyrex dish, place a layer of wafers and then filling alternately.
    Place in refrigerator.
    Before serving put whipped cream on top.
