Linguine And Clam Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
2/3 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. clam juice
2 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. linguine, uncooked
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Drain clams; reserve liquid.
Saute onion and garlic in butter until tender, but not brown.
Add flour, stirring constantly. Gradually add clam juice and liquid drained from clams.
Cook and stir over low heat until slightly thickened.
Add clams, parsley, salt and pepper.
Cook linguine according to package directions; drain.
Toss individual servings with clam sauce and top with Parmesan cheese.
Makes about 6 servings.
