Sweet Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

small cucumbers, soaked in strong saltwater for 24 hours (1 c. salt to 4 c. water), then drained and dried
2 qt. vinegar
1 qt. water
4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spice
Preparation
-
Heat liquid (vinegar and water), sugar and spice to boiling; add cucumbers. Boil 18 minutes. Pack in jars and seal while hot.
