Potato Logs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 potatoes
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash potatoes; do not peel.
    Cut each potato into fourths. Soak in ice water for about 15 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to flour.
    Batter each piece of potato in flour.
    Drop battered potatoes into hot Crisco oil; fry on medium heat until tender.
