Grandma'S Meal In One! - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground meat
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 can small English peas
    1 can cooked, sliced carrots
    1 can tomatoes
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    3 c. seasoned mashed potatoes
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Brown and drain meat.
    Saute onion and bell pepper.
    Mix with meat.
    Add the peas, carrots, tomatoes, water and mushroom soup. Mix well and pour into a greased 3-quart or larger baking dish. Spoon mashed potatoes to cover top, then sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0, until brown.
    This can be fixed the day before and cooked when needed.
    This dish with salad and drink makes a good Sunday dinner.
