Strawberry Cake With Chantilly Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and
    sugar until light, about 12 to 15 minutes, at medium-high
    speed.
    Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, beating well\tafter each.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add\tto
    creamed
    mixture
    alternately
    with
    milk, beating after each\taddition.
    Bake in 2 greased and floured 9 x 1 1/2-inch round pans at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
