Grandmother'S Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large eggs or 6 yolks
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 to 2 2/3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Beat in sugar.
    Add salt, nutmeg and milk. Pour into pastry lined pan.
    Bake about 40 minutes or until silver knife inserted into side of filling comes out clean.
    Center is still soft, but sets later.
    Cook in 450\u00b0 oven for first 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 to finish baking.
