Scottish Oatcakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 handfuls flour
4 c. rolled oats or oat flour
6 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. cold water
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Put oatmeal, flour and salt in a bowl and mix.
Make a well in the center and pour in the hot melted shortening and cold water. Mix well and then roll into small balls with floured hands, to prevent sticking.
Roll out each ball and cut into fourths.
Bake in a moderate 375\u00b0 oven, for about 20 minutes.
