Low-Fat, Low-Cholesterol Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices whole wheat bread, cut into cubes
    1/2 lb. ground turkey sausage
    1 red or green sweet pepper
    1/2 c. (or more) mushrooms
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded reduced fat sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can reduced sodium cream of mushroom soup
    1 (8 oz.) carton frozen egg product, thawed (may use 4 fresh eggs)
    1 c. skim milk
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    pepper
Preparation
    Cut whole wheat bread into cubes, place in large shallow pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until toasted, stirring once.
    Spray a 12 x 8-inch baking dish and dump half of the cubes therein.
