Saucepan Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. nuts
Preparation

Melt shortening and butter in an 8 x 8-inch metal cake pan. Add cocoa and stir until well blended.
Stir in vanilla and sugar. Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour, salt and nuts.
Spread evenly in same pan.
Bake 25 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Frost with chocolate frosting while still warm.
