Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell
    4 slightly beaten eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. almond extract
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0, also preheat cookie sheet that will hold pie.
    Blend eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and almond extract. Gradually add scalded milk.
    Pour into pie shell (unbaked). Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool pie on rack 15 to 30 minutes, then chill in refrigerator.
