Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    3 c. raw peanuts
    2 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and water until it spins a thread.
    Add peanuts, stirring continuously until it turns a brownish gold. Take from fire, add butter, salt and soda.
    Pour onto buttered cookie sheet to cool.
