Oven Butter-Browned Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large baking potatoes, peeled
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cut potatoes in half lengthwise and dry with paper towels.
    In oven, melt butter in 2-quart baking dish. Roll potatoes in butter to coat thoroughly.
    Arrange in dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cover tightly with foil.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven.
    Turn potatoes. Spoon remaining butter over potatoes.
    Continue to bake, uncovered, 45 minutes until browned.
