Miss Baldwin'S Raisin Sauce For Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. raisins
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    pinch of mace
    8 oz. fruit jelly (currant jelly works well)
Preparation
    Cook water and sugar over low heat for five minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir until jelly dissolves.
    Makes about 2 cups.
    Keeps well in the refrigerator.
