Apple Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
4 c. peeled, raw apples, chopped
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add beaten eggs.
Blend well, then stir in the chopped apples.
Sift dry ingredients together; stir in.
Add nuts.
Bake in oblong loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Makes large, moist cake.
