Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 qt. tomatoes (scald and peel ripe or green tomatoes)
    1 qt. onions, chopped
    salt to taste
    2 1/2 Tbsp. pepper
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 pt. vinegar
    1 1/2 qt. sugar
Preparation
    Cook all together until tender, about 1 hour.
    Dissolve 1/4 cup flour in 1/2
    cup
    water;
    add\tto
    sauce
    to thicken. Stir. Cook 10 more minutes.
    Pour in jars and seal.
