Butterscotch Thins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. Nestle butterscotch morsels
    1/2 c. butter
    2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/3 c. sifted flour
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt morsels with butter over hot (not boiling) water.
    Remove from heat.
    Beat in sugar and egg.
    Sift dry ingredients together. Stir into butterscotch mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Chill.
