Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. milk
1 large (13 oz.) can sliced peaches
Preparation

Melt margarine in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish or pan.
Sift 1 1/4 cups sugar, 1 1/4 cups flour and 1 teaspoon baking powder together in a separate mixing bowl.
Add 1 1/4 cups milk and stir with spoon until smooth.
Pour over margarine.
Spoon sliced peaches on top of flour mixture with 1/2 of peach juice.
Flour mixture will rise to top to form crust.
Cinnamon may be added to flour mixture at time of sifting if desired.
Bake in 350\u00b0 preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
