Refrigerated Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced cucumbers
    1 c. sliced onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onion.
    Let stand 2 hours; drain.
    Bring to boil sugar and vinegar; boil 3 minutes.
    Let stand.
    Add mustard seed and celery seed.
    Pour over drained cucumbers.\tPack into jars or carton.
    Do not seal.
    Refrigerate a week or two.
    They are ready to use.
