Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1 c. oatmeal
    11 to 12 oz. chocolate pieces
    1/3 c. chopped walnuts
    1/3 shredded coconut
Preparation
    Cream brown sugar, white
    sugar,
    shortening,
    vanilla and eggs. Add flour and oatmeal.
    Pour into 11
    x
    7-inch pan.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Don't overbake.
    Melt
    chocolate and spread over bars. Sprinkle with nuts and coconut.
