Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. + 1 tsp. brown sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat 1 cup sugar, brown sugar, milk, flour and butter until dissolved; let cool.
    Beat 1 whole egg, 3 egg yolks and vanilla. Add to cooled vanilla.
    Pour into unbaked pie crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Turn oven down to 250\u00b0 until firm on edge (10 minutes).
    Beat whites, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla for meringue.
    Top and brown.
