Hershey Cake(From The Files Of Ola Dortch Williams) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    8 (5 cent) Hershey bars (plain), melted in double boiler
    10 oz. Hershey's syrup
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add melted Hershey bars and blend.
    Add sifted dry ingredients with buttermilk, beating well after each addition. Add Hershey's syrup, vanilla and chopped nuts.
    Beat well.
    Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Do not invert while cooling!
