Dilly Bacon Corn Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unbleached flour
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    2 tsp. dried dill
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 egg
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, bacon and dill.
    In another bowl, combine milk, oil and egg.
    Stir the liquid ingredients into dry.
    Mix just until moistened.
    Spoon batter into greased pans and bake at 425\u00b0 until tester comes out clean.
    Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
    Serve hot.
