Ingredients

1 mango (10 to 12 oz.)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. chopped red onion
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
fresh ground pepper
2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Peel and seed mango; cut into 1/2-inch cubes.
Combine with all ingredients in a 1 1/2-quart pot.
Stir.
Cook, uncovered, until mushy.
Put chopped walnuts at end.
