Never Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. boiling water
    3 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    8-inch pie crust
Preparation
    Moisten cornstarch with small amount of water.
    Add boiling water.
    Cook until thick and clear.
    Cool! Important!
    Beat the egg whites with pinch of salt until soft peaks form.
    Add sugar, one tablespoon at a time.
    Continue beating until high, firm peaks appear.
    Beat in cornstarch mixture; beat until just right for topping.
    Pile on top of pie.
    Bake 8-inch pie at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
