Caramel Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    3 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate, melted
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Measure all ingredients into mixing bowl; beat until creamy. Makes 3 nice layers (8-inch pans).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Spread caramel filling or white cream cheese frosting.
    (Recipe is 60 years old and very good.)
