Chickpea Dip (Hummus) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can chickpeas
1/2 tsp. salt
ground black pepper
1 Tbsp. safflower oil
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. sesame seed
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Drain the chickpeas thoroughly, reserving the liquid.
Combine the chickpeas with the other ingredients in a blender jar.
Blend until creamy.
If necessary, add some of the liquid from the chickpeas to reach the desired consistency.
Serve chilled and sprinkle with chopped parsley as a dip for raw vegetables, or as a spread.
