Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and drop by teaspoon into hot deep fat.
Cook until golden brown and center is done.
Can be mixed ahead of time, but do not stir any more.

Approximately 15.
