Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. strawberry gelatin
    red food coloring
    3 c. fresh strawberries
    1 baked 8-inch pie crust
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients and 1 cup of water in saucepan.
    Cook over low heat until thick and clear.
    Stir constantly; cool slightly.
    Stir in gelatin and food coloring until gelatin dissolves.
    Arrange strawberries in a pie shell. Pour glaze over the top.
    Garnish with cream and additional strawberries.
