Chocolate Mint Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    4 beaten eggs
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
    2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
    2 drops green food color
    1 c. chocolate chips
    6 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    First Layer:
    Mix together sugar, 1/2 cup butter, eggs, flour, salt, chocolate
    syrup,
    vanilla and nuts (if desired). Put into greased and floured jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool.
