Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter
1 large can blackberries with juice
3/4 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Melt butter in bottom of cake pan. Mix milk, sugar, flour and baking powder and pour over butter.
Pour berries over batter. Sprinkle sugar over top.
Do not stir.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Berries will sink and batter will rise to cover them.
