Baked Apricots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 (17 oz.) cans unpeeled apricot halves
    light brown sugar
    2 stacks Ritz crackers, crumbled
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
Preparation
    Drain and cut apricots into fourths.
    In a greased 2-quart casserole dish, put a layer of apricots.
    Cover with brown sugar, then a layer of the crumbled crackers and dot thickly with lumps of margarine.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake slowly in a 300\u00b0 oven for approximately 1 hour.
    It should be thick and crusty on top. Serves 10.
