Twentieth Century Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
6 whole eggs
4 c. cake flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Sift flour once, then add baking powder and sift twice more, then add milk and flour, beating god after each addition.
