Grandma Bazuin'S Cocoa Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cocoa (rounded)
6 Tbsp. Crisco (rounded)
2 c. sugar
3 eggs (medium)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sour milk (you can make sour milk by putting 4 tsp. vinegar in a cup; measure and fill with milk)
Preparation

Sift together first 4 ingredients; set aside.
Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs.
Alternate, adding dry ingredients and milk, until well blended.
Add the vanilla last.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes for cupcakes, 20 to 25 minutes for layers or 30 minutes for loaf cake.
