German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
5 or 6 slices bacon, diced
1 medium onion
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
5 to 6 medium potatoes, peeled and boiled
Preparation

Fry bacon and remove from pan.
Saute onion in bacon drippings.
Add vinegar, sugar and water.
Thicken with cornstarch.
Slice potatoes into mixture.
Add salt and bacon. Keep warm until served.
