Chunky Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. peeled and sliced apples
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Put all ingredients into a large pan cover and cook on medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Remove from heat and mash apples until sauce is desired consistency.
    Serve warm or cold.
