David'S Picadillo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 medium potatoes
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 small onion
    garlic powder
    1 c. crushed tomatoes
    water (to cover potatoes)
    1 jalapeno pepper
Preparation
    Dice potatoes.
    Brown and crumble ground chuck with chopped onion and garlic to taste.
    When almost browned, add potatoes. Brown lightly.
    Drain any grease that remains.
    Add tomatoes and enough water to cover potatoes.
    Cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
    Add the jalapeno pepper before you cook.
    Just drop it on top of potatoes.
    Serve with corn bread or corn tortillas.
