Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond
3 c. cake flour, sifted twice
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk plus enough sweet milk to make 1 c.
Preparation

Cream butter and
sugar
together.
Add
eggs, one at a time. Add remaining ingredients.
Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
