Baked Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unpopped popcorn
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pop popcorn (hot air is best) and divide into 2 large pans. Melt butter.
    Stir in brown sugar, Karo syrup and salt.
    Boil, without stirring, 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla and soda.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Mix well. Bake in 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Cool completely.
    Break apart and store in tightly covered container.
