Cheese Twists - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar
1/3 c. cold water
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a medium sized bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
Sprinkle water over.
Mix lightly with fork just until mixture holds together and leaves sides of bowl.
Roll out on lightly floured pastry cloth or board to a 12 x 10-inch rectangle.
Divide in half lengthwise, then cut each half crosswise into 1/2-inch wide strips.
Lift strips one at a time.
Twist a couple turns and place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
