Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. cored, peeled apple slices
    1 c. sugar or 1/2 c. honey
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Combine apple slices and 1 cup sugar in bottom of 2-quart casserole.
    Mix butter, oats, flour, brown sugar and walnuts. Sprinkle butter-oat mixture over apple combination.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour or until topping is browned and apples are tender.
    Serve warm, plain or topped with a small spoonful of ice cream.
