German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 12 slices bacon
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    8 to 10 potatoes, cooked ahead
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. flour
    1 tsp. dried parsley
Preparation
    Chop and saute bacon.
    Add onion to bacon just before the bacon is done and cook.
    Remove from heat.
    Drain off excess grease and discard.
    In a separate pot, bring to a boil, vinegar, salt and sugar.
    Dissolve flour into water and add to dressing. Add bacon and onion to dressing.
    Pour over potatoes, which have been cut into bite-size pieces.
