Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. dill pickles (store bought)
2 1/3 c. cider vinegar
4 cloves garlic (optional)
2 Tbsp. whole allspice
1 Tbsp. whole black pepper
4 c. white sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
Preparation

Drain pickles.
Make syrup of vinegar, spices and sugars. Bring to a boil and simmer about 5 minutes.
Add pickles and allow to come to a boil.
Let stand 24 hours before putting in jars. Keep in refrigerator.
