Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 heaping tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. Crisco
2 c. boiling water
1 c. molasses or King syrup
Preparation

Mix flour, brown sugar and Crisco by hand until crumbly.
Take out 1 cup for top, then add boiling water, molasses and baking soda.
Mix together. Put into greased pan.
Put crumbs on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
