Quick Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick margarine
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 (No. 2) can unsweetened fruit (cherries, peaches, strawberries, etc.)
    2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in casserole dish.
    Mix flour and other dry ingredients with 1 cup sugar and milk.
    Stir until well blended. Pour the batter into the butter.
    Add 3/4 cup sugar to fruit and heat.
    Pour into batter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until brown.
