Macpherson Scotchcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 lb. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add flour; mix well.
    Put dough in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour until brown on top.
    Cut in squares while warm.
