Baked Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 baking apples (Granny Smith, Rome Beauty)
3/4 c. unsalted mixed nuts, coarsely chopped
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Core apples without cutting through bottom, making cavity about 1-inch wide. Using a vegetable peeler, peel a 1-inch strip around top. Mix nuts and sugar. Stuff into cavities and place into baking dish. Drizzle apples with 2 tablespoons water. Bake 45 to 55 minutes until apples are tender when pierced with a knife. Serve warm or at room temperature.
