Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 1/2 c. cooking oil
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 cans green chilies
Preparation
    Mix the first five ingredients in a bowl and add egg, milk, cottage cheese and cooking oil.
    Pour 1/2 of the batter into a well-greased pan.
    Add grated cheese and green chilies.
    Add remaining batter.
    Cook at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Good with chili.
