Syrup Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. ribbon cane syrup
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. cloves
    2 eggs
    1 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Stir all ingredients together.
    Pour into prepared 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Check for doneness with toothpick.
