Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Boil
    sugar,
    Karo
    and
    water until it forms a thread. Then add butter and nuts.
    Then boil until a golden brown and nuts begin to pop.
    Remove from fire and add vanilla and soda. Stir well; then pour out very thin.
